Unknown Quilted wood octagonal platter. Possibly Maple or Cherry.  This once in a lifetime astonishing piece of wood surface looks three dimensional.  If there is a board that defines "quilted," this is it!   Spectacular irridescent wavy grain on orange brown wood.  Oil and hard wax finish.  Hand wash only.  18"x 1"
